For Lu's first birthday we asked guests to bring a new or used toy to donate, instead of gifts for her. People were so generous and today we had our big delivery. We decided on The Ronald McDonald House. It was bitter sweet taking the toys there. Just knowing sick little girls and boys were there and their families and my healthy one year old was sitting in my car. I know that the children will enjoy all of the things and really felt like this was the right place to give. The Ronald McDonald House is a such a wonderful place. They are actually in the process of building a new one here, so it will be even better. I can't wait to show LAS these pictures when she is older and maybe make it a tradition. She also did get some wonderful presents from her friends as well. Thanks so much for making a difference in a little person's life!

Lu did enjoy one of her birthday gifts today. A chair of her very own. We got it from Target. They are on big time sale right now. Gotta love that!

That is the BEST idea! You are so wonderful to do that. I know those kids will appreciate it more than you will know. I love the chair. I may have to check that one out cuz I don't want to pay that much for one from PBK!
