Prof Photos

We hadn't had any professional pictures of Reynolds yet, so yesterday I took him to Portrait Innovations. It is just a cheap place where I could get some quick photos. I did it with Lu at this same age. Now I have matching pictures of them, which really excites me. (the little things) I thought that they turned out great. I know I'm biased, but darn he is cute!

First Swim

We recently joined the YMCA and Sunday we went to the pool. This was RWS's first trip to the pool. He loves his bath and he loved getting in the water. I think we are going to make it a family tradition!

Tennis Camp

This week Lu went to tennis camp. We got up very early and headed over there. They spent the morning learning how to play tennis, did an art craft, and then went swimming. One thing, she is exhausted, and two she LOVES tennis. She met her friend Harper there and had a blast. I was afraid how dropping her off was going to go, but it went awesome! She went right over and said goodbye. So proud!

7 Months

Today RWS is 7 months. It is so hard to believe we are on the other side of half a year. He is still the sweetest, best baby. He is constantly entertained by his big sister and loves every second of it. He is full on eating now. I have been making his food and we are almost done with vegetables. His favorites are sweet potatoes and zucchini. He doesn't like peas, but that is about it.  He is eating two things of baby food at dinner and one at breakfast and lunch. Reynolds had his first ear infection last week. I wouldn't have even know if it weren't for a pesky cough. He is just so sweet. He weighs about 20 lbs, but not sure because they didn't weigh him at the last appointment. He wears 6-9 months clothing and size 1 shoe. He is rolling all over the place and is trying so hard to get those legs moving when he is on his belly. No teeth yet, but the drool is at a maximum right now.

Mother's Day

This has been the BEST day! This year I'm twice as blessed. It started off with breakfast in bed, followed by church, lunch, a walk on the levy, cupcakes, and cooking out. It couldn't have been any better. I am the luckiest girl around. Phillip made today so special and I can't wait to return the favor in a few weeks for Father's Day. I'm so proud and so happy!

 Lunch with the fam!
Lu stretching with Dad before we walked on the levy.

 RWS enjoyed the view.
Lu picked some flowers for me.
Then we had cupcakes and she had a bottled Sprite. She is so silly.
This guy wanted some of Dad's cupcake REALLY bad!
This was my highlight. The two kids played outside together. He chased her around with his walker. It made my heart so happy
 Dad made some great burgers!

Hanging Around

This week has been pretty blah. RWS had his first ear infection and Lu had a stomach bug. We hung around here for the majority of the week. We were definitely ready to see the weekend.

I got the beach tent out and we have been having a great time "camping".
 Daddy makes him happy!
Lu played dress up with her BFF.
Wally discovered sweet potatoes, and loves them!
 Lu  nursed a stomach bug.
This big guy started holding his bottle by himself. He can only do it when he is lying down, but he does it. Love!

Art Show

Last night Lucy's school had her art show. They show off a lot of the projects they do throughout the year. We got a sitter for RWS and had a special night with just Lu. We told her to pick where she wanted to go for dinner and of course, chick fil a. Girl loves some chick fil a sauce! Me too! It was such a fun night and reminded us how much we LOVE her school.

Showing off her chicken!

 The cow was there!
Showing us her classroom and all of her art!

This one was funny. The teacher had her draw something and then tell what it was. "Magic Doors for Daddy to go in" Not really sure what they lead too.

Not really wanting to take a picture.
Much happier with Ms. Dee. She told Ms. Dee that she looked like Snow White.

Here are a few of the things we have been doing lately. Starting to get H.O.T!!!

Trying to squeeze into our baby pool.

Wearing Dad's goggles to the bath.

Serving tea to Bubba.

and having more tea party picnics!

Watching the live stream of a red tail hawk nest. So cool!

Watching Mickey dance over and over and over.
