While Meme and Pops were here went drove down to New Orleans to check out the aquarium. This was RWS's first time. He loved it. We had so much fun checking out all of the marine life. It made it extra special that Pops came. What a fun day!
We LOVE penguins!

Merry Christmas! This was such a fun Christmas morning. We got to wake up in our own house and see what Santa brought. It was awesome. Meme and Pops were here too. The big brought Lu and Reynolds some great loot. It was a day full of presents and playing. I don't think we got out of our jammies until after lunch. It was so fun to see Lucy because this is the first year she really "got" it. She left a note and cookies for Santa and couldn't wait to go check everything out. Reynolds is still little, but didn't seem to mind all of the goodies. Lucy's big gift was the dollhouse and Reynolds got the train table. Both were a big hit. Nothing better than waking up and seeing those smiles on your kids' faces.
I made a special breakfast. It turned out so cute!

This year our family was in the living nativity at our church. P and I were wise men and Lu was an angel. We felt so honored to be part of such an awesome story of our Lord's birth. The service was beautiful and even Meme and Pops were there to see, which made it extra special. This is such a special memory that we will hold dear for many years to come.
Baby bro had to watch from the sidelines this year.
So many places to play in a sanctuary.
We opened our one present before bed tonight. It's our tradition to get their pjs on Christmas Eve. This year they had some precious matching. I don't know how long I will be able to get away with matching, but I will be trying as long as I can!

Our Sunday school class had a tacky Christmas party. It was so fun. I loved seeing everyone dressed up. I might be getting older, but I sure love a themed party. Can't wait until next year!

We went to meet the big man this weekend and one of our kids was a fan and the other was not. Lu did so great. She had a list for Santa and told him what she wanted. Let's hope that the hamster on the list, disappears. RWS could not have been more terrified. He loved him until I left him sitting on that big red lap. Not a huge fan. We have started a little tradition of meeting a group of friends at Bass Pro Shop and doing the Santa thing and then eating lunch. They have the best Santa and the scenery is great. There is always a lot to see there. It was a lot of fun and we love experiencing this with our close friends. The kids like it too. Can't wait to do it again next year!
Carousel rides for the kids!
Waiting in line to meet Santa Claus. Lu bites her nails when she is nervous.
What am I doing here?!? AHHHHH!
All of the kiddos. So much fun!

These kids are just too much sometimes. I love how they play together. RWS just loves his Sissy and she is pretty fond of him too. Here are a couple cute shots.

Now that we have a great backyard, P has been dying to camp out with Lucy. They did on Friday night and Lu was sooo excited. She fell asleep within 15 minutes and they slept there all night. It was so much fun for them to do. He is the best Daddy. Reyn wanted to join in, but I think that would have made for a long night. Maybe in a few months Bubba.
Poor little guy wanted to play with them so bad. He even brought his toothbrush.

As soon as we got home from Thanksgiving break we went out and got our Christmas tree. I was so excited to have so much space to put our tree and to actual have room for decorations! We love getting each ornament out and remember where we got it or who may have given it to us. Each one is special. The tree we got was perfect. The kids all were in to decorating. RWS was more interested in taking them out of the boxes for us! I love getting in the holiday spirit! We had such a great day together and spending it as a family. Tis the season.
