A Cow and the Easter Walk

The weekend started early for us with a special Chickfila night. Our Chickfila had "Pirate and Princess" night and Lu spared no expense. Thanks to our Aunt Gina we were dressed to a 'T'. To say that she loved the princess cow would be an understatement. I can't imagine what would happen if we went to Disney right now. She may faint at the sight of a Disney princess. It was a lot of fun.

Then we got up and had our church Easter egg hunt on Saturday. They had a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and so much for the kids. It was great. Lu got her face painted for the first time. She was amazed and said, "Mom, it didn't even hurt!" Reynolds sat up by himself almost the entire time. He has just started this and is doing great. We had such a fun day!

Feeding the lamb.
Amelia and Lucy loved feeding their babies.
Picnicking with brother. Man, they are so cute. I know I'm partial, but jeez.
Phillip took some GREAT shots of our little man.

Lu won the Easter bonnet contest. RWS modeled it for everyone. (Ok, she was the only entry.)
The fabulous face painting!
Two weekends in a row she has gotten to ride a pony. Don't get any ideas missy.

Sunny Farms

Today we had Lucy's 3rd birthday party. We had it at a farm here and she, and her friends, had a blast. She got to drive a tractor (which was a highlight), ride a pony, pet some animals, and run around! It was a great time.
Hayride with Dad!
Treasure hunt in the hay.
This bunny weighed 20lbs, but she was quick to tell us that he is not overweight.
Feeding the goats.

They were having a ball!
Tire swing! They loved this.
Amazing cake that my amazing friend Katie made. Check out Capitol City Confectioners. So good too!
Momma M and her babes. RWS is such a chunky monkey. I love it!
Riding Peaches! This was awesome.
Time for cake!
Some one enjoyed himself too!
Loved the saddle she sat on.
Happy 3rd Birthday!

Crafty Wednesday

Today we had a pretty crafty day. Lu and I made puppets out of paper sacks and tried to entertain RWS. The pictures say it all. He was not really interested. She cut out all of her puppet, except for the lips. She designed the hair herself. She, of course, wanted it to be pink. We also made cupcakes for her to take to school tomorrow since Friday is her birthday. She got the cutest kids baking set for Christmas and it made tiny cupcakes. It was a fun day at home.

Check Ups

I've changed pediatricians and we had RWS rechecked today. He is 4 1/2 months old and weighs 16 lbs 7 oz, is 25 1/4 inches long. His head is big yall! He is definitely on the bigger side. But dang he is cute. He is showing off his new tricks.

Lucy also had her 3 year old check up! I can't believe that she is 3. I can remember every minute of that day 3 years ago. She has grown into such an entertaining little girl. She is constantly on the move. She is so sweet, a great talker, loves to "put on shows", loves her brother, is a great snuggler, is beautiful, is smart, and the list goes on and on. She is fully potty trained and would love to pick out her clothing everyday, if I would let her. Lu has a mind of her on and is too smart for her own good sometimes. She is constantly amazing me with the things that she knows and the words that she says. Today she weighed 28 1/2 lbs and is 37 5/8 inches long. She has only gained a pound since her 2 year check up. Tall and skinny.
This is a typical afternoon at our house. Lu is cheering on Wally as he shakes his rattle. Always the encourager. We also change dress up clothes about 5 times a day. (My mom saved my dance costumes from when I was little. They make great dress up clothes.)

Just for comparison:

Lu at 4 months 1 week: 13 lbs 10oz, 24 3/4 inches long
RWS at 4 months 2 weeks: 16 lbs 7 oz, 25 1/2 inches long

Easter Egg Hunt Party

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for a little boy who was turning 2. They had an Easter egg hunt, which I thought was such a great idea. The kids had a blast! They dyed eggs and had a face painter, which Lu wanted nothing to do with. It was a perfect day for it. We had a great time with friends and the kids were exhausted.

Big man loved watching all of the other kids!

The two Lucys! They are BFF.

Her other BFF, Harper. They were checking out all of their loot.
