Anderson's Baptism and Milestone

LAS has rolled for the first time from the back to the front! She did several times. I guess we better get ready because she is going to be on the move before we know it. I am so glad Phillip was home from work and we both got to see it happen. It was a great moment. This afternoon we went to Anderson's baptism and reception. It was wonderful. Margaret did a great job and Anderson was perfect. It also was a great chance to get LAS all dressed up. We had such a good time. Thanks for the invitation.

Stayed Put

Today we actually did not leave the house. It was a good thing because LAS did not want to take a nap. I think that I have just come to terms with the fact that she is not a consistent napper. She is sleeping through the night though. We are doing it almost everyday now. I guess you get some good with the bad. She has found that she can hold her toes and does it all day. She loves it. I think that rolling over from back to front is not far off. She really can do it if she wanted. Our complex had a pool party tonight. It was packed. The band was great and I won an emergency kit for my car in the drawing. LAS is doing better with the cereal. She seemed to kind of figure it out a little better tonight. I don't think that she liked the taste, but she didn't mind trying something new. I think she is a bit of a dare devil.
Loves her feet!!

Girl's Night Out

I just started stroller aerobics and they invited me to their girl's night at the Melting Pot. It was a lot of fun. I have met some really nice people here. It was really great to get out by myself for once. This is a cute outfit that my mom got LAS. The shoes are hillarious.Oh, we went to Mommy and Me class this morning and learned some baby CPR and weighed LAS.
She is 13 lbs 14 oz.

Just Us Girls

We went to church this morning and LAS stayed in the nursery. She did great. There is no way we could have taken her into church, she would have talked the entire time. After church Phillip went into work and took Barkley. He said the played around on the job site and Barkley slept most of the time while he worked. That just left us girls at home. We did some playing on our mat and Brooke slept most of the time. She is the sleepiest dog I know. That night we went over to our friend's from Sunday School's house and had fish. They had caught it the day before. It was awesome. Another weekend down! They go too fast.

Eating with a Spoon is Fun, I Promise

Well, the doctor gave the go ahead for LAS to try to eat some rice cereal. She gets to practice eating with a spoon. I thought that she might like it at first, but that was not the case. She screamed! We will keep trying. I also started going to stroller aerobics. We meet in the park and all of the exercises use the stroller in some way. We also sing to the babies as we are exercising, not easy. I met my friend Rachel there. She had been before, so she kind of let me know what to expect. It was hard, but fun. I will be there next time. LAS cried almost the whole time. I think she felt bad for me sweating and working hard!
Oooh! What is that?

Not too thrilled about the rice cereal!

This is how I felt too!

Zoo Day

Ok, so she might be too young for the zoo, but I think she liked it. She really liked looking at the goats because they thought she had food for them. She started crying when the monkeys would not stop screeching. It was funny. We had a great time and she did really well. LAS loves to roll in her umbrella stroller, because she can see everything that is happening. I like to think that she had a blast. We will go again. The Zoo in Gulf Breeze is really great. They have so much to see.

LAS was asleep and missed these guys.

Couldn't resist.

Rained Out

So we were going to go to the pool Sunday afternoon, but it started raining. Since we were all dressed in our bathing suits, we decided to give LAS a bath in the tub. We usually do it on the counter in the kitchen, so this we exciting. She had a great time playing with her toys, and I think Daddy liked it too. I am putting up a picture that I painted for a friend down here. I think it turned out ok. They are big fisher-people so I thought it would be appropriate.
Sitting up by herself.

She loves her bath!

Lazy Sunday

Today we met our Sunday School group for lunch since we don't meet in the Summer. Our fearless leaders have a two week old and brought little Oliver to BBQ. He is adorable. Then we came home and played a little more. I think we may go to the pool later. Weekends are so fun with Daddy home!

Thai Cookout

Today we went over to our friend's house, Amber and Scott. They had a cookout, but it had a twist. You had to make something Thai. We made coconut rice. It was soooo good. All of the food was good. Their daughter Sidney loves LAS. She had hair bows ready to put in her hair and wanted to hug her constantly. We had a great time. LAS wore her dress made by my cousin-in-law Katie. Everyone loved it! She looked so cute. Thanks Katie.

Lu loved playing with Syd.

4 Months Old

Today is LAS's 4 month birthday. Time sure has flown by. She is doing so much now and has such a personality. We think that she is going to be funny and very sweet. She is a loving little girl already. She loves to smile at you and loves to laugh. That is the best sound. We weighed her on Tuesday and she weighed 13 lbs 4.6 oz. She is getting so big! She discovered her teddy that Ga Ga gave her. She was hugging it. We also went to our friend's house. Amber and her daughter, Sydney, were so sweet to invite us over. Amber said that Syd always asks to hold baby L. We had a great time visiting. Also, shout out to my great friend Meredith who turns the big 3-0 today! Wish we could be there to celebrate!

Cute pjs and the magic toy.

Hugs to her favorite bear.

Syd did a great job holding her.

Magic Toy

The past few days LAS has fallen asleep on her play mate while holding this teething toy. I put it in her hands when she gets sleepy and bam, she goes to sleep. She always has been one that wanted to be rocked, even for a nap. Maybe we are making some progress. I got her these cute big girl pjs from Baby Gap. I love them, but she looks so big! Where has time gone?
What is it with this toy? I should invest in more.

Kisses for mommy in her cute pjs.

Raise your hand if you're sure!
