Play Date

Today a friend of mine from elementary school came over. She had twins in December. The girls all had a great time playing. LAS stayed awake from 11:30 until 4:30. There was way too much going on for her to sleep. We all played on the floor forever. It was a lot of fun. We all had to change outfits a couple of times due to some spit up. Good thing we were all prepared. I also made LAS a few headbands. What do you think? Too much? My friend Jessica also sent her this adorable blanket. She loves to play on it and look at all of the colors. I think she is going to be rolling onto her tummy before we know it, because she wants to see all of the shapes. Thanks Jess!

Long Weekend

Today felt like Monday. It was so nice to have Phillip home for an extra day. We tried to go to church, but our Sunday school class doesn't meet in the summer. We didn't know. Oh well, we tried. Next week we will just try again. We decided that we would get LAS a float since she loved the water so much. The one we got is a little big, but it works. The three of us had a good time at the pool. Mamma M and Grandaddy brought her a special present when they came, a walker. It has a little piano and mixers so she can be a dj. She loves to be able to put her feet on the floor. Before we know it she will be scooting all over the place. It also might help when I want to make dinner!Today felt like Monday. Happy 4th

We headed back from Guntersville today. We stopped and saw Mal and Bryan. Didn't take pictures again, but it was fun. We sure did miss little LAS when we were away. My first night to be able to sleep and of course I didn't. The Skipper's said she did great and they want to come back and watch her again. I guess she didn't keep them up too much :) Sounded like they had a great time and had a few adventures. She is a lucky little girl. Thanks for watching her and letting Phillip and I have some grown up time! When we got home we all walked down to the pool and let LAS test it out. She loved it. I think we have a swimmer. First Night Away

Today is our first overnight away from LAS. I cried as soon as I got in the car. I was just going to miss her sooo much. She was in good hands though. She had her Mamma M and Grandaddy with her (Phillip's parents). We met our awesome friends Hays and Meredith in Birmingham and drove up to see Laura Lou and Derrek get married. They got married at Guntersville State Park. If you have never been, you need to go. It is absolutely beautiful. Hard to believe it is in Alabama. We also got to see Jessica and Baby Georgia. Of course I didn't take pictures! I hate when I do that. Next time. They are the cutest! We had a great time. Laura Lou and Derrek are such a beautiful couple. Thanks for inviting us!

My Birthday

Today is my birthday. It's been good so far, except for LAS crying all day! Mom and Mema came last night and headed for my brothers today. It was a great birthday surprise. Thanks for all of the birthday wishes.
