Today we took some pics of Lucy Lu for her announcements. We decided to try ourselves, before we paid someone. I think they look good. Phillip took most of them.
Today we went to the park by Phillip's work and had a picnic. Lucy enjoyed her second bottle. We came home and played on her tummy time mat for a little while. She is very advanced
Our friends, the Edlers, came to see Lu today. This is LAS's first friend, Anderson. We met the Edlers in our birthing class and became fast friends. They pretty much just hang out in their car seats right now.
Today, Momma M and Aunt Bess came to see us. Thank you for driving all the way to meet us. We love you! With her brother and sisterMeeting Lu for the first time.
Today Lucy Anne Skipper was born at 3:35 in the afternoon. She weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and measured 20" long. Mom, Dad, and baby did great. Labor was not too bad, thanks to some very helpful drugs :) Lucy's grandparents were all there to welcome her into the world. Phillip and I went in to the hospital at midnight last night and they my water was broken at 7:oo am. I started pushing at 3:00 pm and Lucy was ready to be here. We had to hold her in and wait for the doctor to get there. She is a very determined little girl, already! We are so happy and thankful for a safe and quick delivery.
I am a mother, teacher, friend, and wife. I have an awesome husband who is so helpful and really funny. Our little girl is nearing two and is full of energy. We have a great life here in Southern Louisiana. We are looking forward to our next adventure!
